Joshua Jackson
Lead Minister
Joshua Jackson has been the Lead Minister at the Rural Hill Church of Christ since January of 2020. He’s a graduate of Abilene Christian University and Emory’s Candler School of Theology. He and his wife Tina have ministered in Texas, Georgia, and Florida, prior to coming to Nashville. Joshua enjoys traveling, reading and sports.
Barry Fowler
Minister of Church Life
Barry is a Nashville native and grew up in a neighborhood just down the street. He earned his music degrees from Tennessee Tech University and Belmont University and his Master of Divinity degree from Harding School of Theology . After a short career teaching choir at the middle school, high school and college levels the Lord called Barry into full time church ministry. He has served as worship minister, youth minister and lead minister. Barry joined the ministry staff at the Rural Hill Church of Christ in May of 2023, after serving churches in Memphis, TN for 28 years. He is married to Liz and they have two daughters, Emma and Lily.
