YOUTH

Growing together.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

No matter who you are, or what direction you are heading in life, you are being formed by something into something. Our habits, our goals, and our relationships are constantly changing us into a particular kind of people.  At Rural Hill, we are focused on forming our students into citizens of the Kingdom of God.

Kingdom Formation

Forming our students into citizens of the kingdom of God.

No matter who you are, or what direction you are heading in life, you are being formed by something into something. Our habits, our goals, and our relationships are constantly changing us into a particular kind of people.  At Rural Hill, we are focused on forming our students into citizens of the Kingdom of God.

We seek to provide opportunities for our students to become citizens of a kingdom that stands apart from the ways of the world: The Kingdom Jesus founded, and will one day bring to completion. We believe to be a Christian is to live a life constantly becoming a member of this already/ not yet Kingdom of Heaven.

What it looks like to be a citizen of this Kingdom is to live in healthy relationships. God, in His essence, is a relationship; what Christianity refers to as the Trinity. We were created by a relationship for the purpose of being in relationships.
Modeled after our understanding of the Trinity, we seek for form students into the Kingdom of God by building and nurturing three healthy relationships: a healthy relationship with God, a healthy relationship with others, and a healthy relationship with ourselves.

By making the building and nurturing of these three relationships our primary goal, we will form our students into healthy and thriving citizens of the Kingdom of God.
